Thank you for your interest in playing at Sly’s Refueling Station!  We are one of the top venues for live music on the central coast.  We host local, regional, and touring bands.  Friday and Saturday nights are at capacity nearly every weekend.  While we love original artists, our most successful bands play relatable, energetic music, our guests can dance to, especially on weekend nights.

 

If interested in playing, please submit the following to bands@slymcflys.com:

 

1.  A “YouTube” video of a LIVE performance. Ideally with audience interaction. We do not accept Facebook links, attached videos, etc. Do not send demo’s or studio cuts.

 

2.  A current setlist.

 

3.  List of recent venues you’ve played in the past year and upcoming shows.

 

4.  Number of players in your band. Include anything special like saxophone or backup vocalists. singers.

 

5.  Expected rate of pay. We have music 7 nights a week. Budgets are set. Be realistic about what is acceptable. We can always revisit the rate if the band is successful.

 

6.  Days available. Weekdays vs weekends. It is far easier to get a weekday rotation to start. We prefer to promote successful weekday bands to weekend gigs.

 

7.  An EPK and your bands website, if available.

Notes:

We are prohibited from booking the following genres due to liability insurance:

Punk, Metal, Electronica, Hip Hop, Rap, Ska, House.

 

Our audience prefers rock, classic rock, blues, some disco, old school, and funk.

 

We don’t do politics or division. If your band has an agenda, we are not interested.

We do not book solo or acoustic acts at night. Feel free to submit for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday days. We usually limit trios to Monday and Tuesday nights.

We usually do not book tribute bands but would consider the right fit.
